I moved into my property two years ago and since moving in have experienced horrendous loud music, banging, shouting swearing at all hours of the day and night, the previous owners did not have the courtesey to inform me off this! After speaking to the neighbours i was told to F off. I have reported it to council and they are hoping for an eviction. I really think the government should hand over the powers to the housing associations as court procedures are a lenghty and expensive. professional witnesses such as police, councillors and officials of the housing association should be enough to warrant possesion of the property after 3 warnings. It is an experience that nobody should have to suffer for soo long, swift action needs to be taken.

A new family moved into the hse oppposite ours(we're council tenants, they are private). The husband runs his business from the property and so far in just two months we have had many late night(early am) with loud music, haulage vans, cars and removers acting as if its the middle of the day. At 1am this morning, I actually thought a car was being stolen-he had music blaring, van doors slamming and car revving for over 15 mins. I asked him to at least turn the music down, to which he replied in very limited English..F**k off, b*t*h...Yep, gobsmacked just about summs it up. Amazing really, how can he justify that sort of behaviour?? And the worse thing is, hes breeding,as they have a young child too. Shame.

Moved in 6 years ago to what we thought was a quiet street but have discovered neighbours from hell. Motorbikes, cars, dogs barking, keeping our 2 small children and ourselves awake at all hours. Have approached them several times with polite and courteous manner to be given the height of abuse. Now after suffering for so long, and realising we can do more, we are typing a letter to them, and are in touch with noise pollution agency. Fingers crossed this is resolved cos I am so depressed and feel I can't take this anymore. Feel I should take kids and go to parents home just for peace and quiet but then this is MY home and I should be able to enjoy my kids childhood and my life without this stress!
