Re: Complainers are often self-centred

Yes washing machine is fixed but my purse feels lighter !!
Not a cpo insight...am I shocked by that ..NO..
Landlord said he would have words with them about the noise..
These little outbursts of theirs are definatley a 2 finger salute at me I think ..
They must know its me who keeps  complaining about them and quite frankly I don't care..
Oh and they don't recycle properly, their bins are overflowing and the council refuse to empty them because they put the wrong rubbish in the wrong bins (idiots).
They are too lazy to do it correctly and they don't care ..

No No Annie,  recorder will be set when I go in my bedroom on record mode and I HOPE to catch some banging knocking crashing for hard of hearing support worker tomorrow.... hmm  hmm

I would have cancelled, but I like her and prefer to say goodbye.

She's also very talkative so what I say will go back to the office.... wink

I'm glad I now know where I am with the H Assn.

they should be fined for not recycling properly.

Re: Complainers are often self-centred

@Julia

Julia I am with you on this whole issue.

My neighbours both sides of me scream and scream and scream all day and all night long.  But I do not let it bother me in any way at all.

I just ask those nice men in the white uniforms to up my dose a bit each day and, whallah, I am out for the count.

Have started to hear rumours though that the cost of my drugs could soon stop my daily dose so I have penned an e-mail to the govenor asking if my walls can have a bit of extra padding.  I would urge you to do the same where you are and to ask them politely to check the straps are good and tight on your dress while they wipe the rabid drool from your chin.

Re: Complainers are often self-centred

The the re cycle lorrys came today and I purposely watched to see if they emptied next doors over flowing bins..
No they took one look at them and put a notice or a sticker on them ..
One of the idiots next door came out in his jim jams ( not a good look I might add) and started ranting and raving at the bin men..
They told him they won't take them because they didn't contain the correct re cycling waste..
So I rung the re cycle dept and told them that their bins stink because they haven't been emptied for 3 wks due to them being too lazy to separate their rubbish..
Their front garden is starting to look like a landfill site!!
Hope the council fine them !

Re: Complainers are often self-centred

I agree with both sides of the arguement, I think the only people who complain about kids are people who dont have them, otherwise they would be a bit more understanding, yes there are things that go beyond kids doing what kids do, I.E shouting and screaminging early hours indoors and out in the garden, which is what we had, or kicking a ball against your wall all day or playing "kerbsy".

My kids are in bed for 7pm every night, the older two have a tv on very low till 9pm at the latest, sometimes the younger two might make a little noise, but sometimes we cant control is, we just have to ride it out till the phase passes.

I often find some people are moaners for the sake of moaning, like my nieghbour across the road moaning about my Harley, which I start up and drive away without revving it right up, I only use it during the summer months, but its OK for her to go screaming down the road at 60MPH hitting the speed bumps like a demented witch at times when kids are walking down the road, or letting her friends park over other people drop slopes.

Well I'm a mum but I still complain about the child of satan upstairs being allowed to run, jump and play ball games on the NFH's laminate flooring directly above me especially as they have a garden outside and there are several parks in the local vicinity including an adventure playground.  I used to live above people and had more respect than to allow my daughter to run amock, we played quiter games indoors and went to the park for her to let off steam as we did'nt have a garden.  Babies crying, kids playing outside (at reasonable hours) kids laughing I have no problem with but being egged on by his mum to make as much noise as possible, I'm not moaning for moanings sake.

Re: Complainers are often self-centred

Well im a mum/nan and i complain about the kids upstairs allowed to run, jump and bang for 10 hours a day,  why should i have to suffer the noise from people who have kids and just drag them up.

Re: Complainers are often self-centred

I havent lived in a flat since I was a kid, and from I can remember they are quite noisey when you have people above you, I personally wouldnt live in a flat, but if I did have to I wouldnt be putting down laminated flooring.  I have it in my house and I made sure I put down really good proofing under the laminate.

My litte boy of 2 runs through the house and to be honest it drives me and my wife mental, but like I said and being a mother yourself, kids go through phases of doing things.

What I find out of order is when kids are up at a time when they should be in bed, screaming in the garden at 10pm at night on trampolines, which was happening at my nieghbours place.

As for taking my kids to the park I would love to, but people with dogs never take the time to pick up the excrement that their dogs make, I always clean up after my dog.  So most of the time my kids often end up playing in the garden, there is either epping forest or a park a fair bit further up the road which we sometimes take them, both have to be done by car.
