Suze, if you can .....record a session of them....and play back LOUDLY through SPEAKERS and go out for an hour and leave them with their own noise

What you could try ref the boiler is to threaten to call British Gas as your "very concerned".....they are supposed to be certificated every year by a corgi engineer

The buggers have surpassed themselves this morning. Along with the boiler, talking, shouting, devil child screaming etc, they've been SINGING... THE SAME SONG... REPEATEDLY... OUT OF TUNE... Think it's time for Motley Crüe on repeat for the rest of the morning I think...
Well, it was quiet for a bit, and then today they had their mates round and it all started again... Banging on the wall repeatedly, doors slamming, kids running up and down and screaming, the blokes voices coming through the wall, the women laughing... I don't get it. They KNOW how thin the Walls are. EH has written to them. I've spoken to them, my partners spoken to them and both times they've apologised and promised they'd keep it down. I've spoken to their landlord, twice...
It's obviously a FU now... This 'oh I'm sorry I didn't realise' rubbish doesn't stand anymore... So frustrated!

maybe consider renting elsewhere, even downgrade till your in a better financial situation.....just think about it eh
we all love our homes we have lovingly made....but...this is no way to live....my own NN is having a quiet phase at present...but it could all change in an hour....been through it too many times in 6 years here.

ahhh he is being quiet eh pandora? mine too since mediation, the odd bout of loud tv and screaming. but we were pleasant to each other on street at weekend so am hoping it is getting sortedbut we all know it wont last. havent even met my latest EH officer, she hasnt called me or even sent a letter. no idea what her contact number is. my solicitor is gonna love me when I go with my mountain of paper work. my life in a box!

Hi All its me again,
Well the spring has arrived,and so has next doors makeshift BBQ grill. I was sitting in my garden yesterday afternoon,making the most of the sunshine.Mr and Mrs Pig decide to light up.I thought "Oh for goodness sake"well actually,I thought worse than that lol.What with their continuing noise,we are waiting for the date of mediation,as my neighbours have agreed to meet with us,oh that should be fun.Even though they have agreed to meet with us,they are still as loud as ever.Anyways where was I?Oh yes enjoying the sunshine...All of a sudden I could smell like spirit,really strong and wood burning,"Yep this the way they make a BBQ"The smell was actually making me feel sick,and was giving me a headache..Mr and Mrs pig knew that I was sitting in my garden on the patio,but had no consideration for me whatsoever.They actually have their BBQ if you can call it that...on their patio right up at the back of the house,so all the smell and smoke comes over to me and into my house.
Anyways the smoke was horrendous,and the smell was getting worse.I politely and quitely called over to
Mrs Pig and said "Mrs pig,(well not really) lol...I said could you please not do that,your BBQ is giving me a headache and is actually making me feel sick,and the smoke is bad,I have a heart condition,so all this smoke is not doing me any good".Then I said "You have already had a visit from the council,and letters regarding your BBQ,and was told not to light up again.Her reply was "I dont care shut up..I said "Excuse me?shut up,you shut up,honestly it was all I could do not to laugh,as that song sprung into my head "shutaupyaface"What ya gonna do shutupayaface ha ha ha,anyways I said to Mrs pig "Now why are you talking to me like that?I am being polite to you and am not shouting or being disrespectful in any way,then she said Shut up ha ha ha..I really wanted to sing that song ha ha ha.She is Turkish and i know that she knows more English than that lol,mind you thats usually swearing at me lol..I said to her "Mrs Pig you are a very rude woman"and walked away.I really wanted to ram her head into the BBQ,but kept my dignity lol.
I called the EO,only one went next door.I dont know what was said,but Mr Pig started raising his voice.What gets me is that the EO was out in the back garden with all the smoke going for 20mins,then he left,and they were still burning for two hours after.I am wondering if the EO told them that they could finish what they were cooking then put it out,but 2 hours they were still at it.I will be phoning later to see what they have to say.When I phoned the EO,he told me that they had already been served with a notice,now I know that they have had one advisory letter,and one warning,but didn't know about them being served with a notice.
The EO should have made them put out the fire straight away,as they have been warned a few times and previously been visited my EO,so it annoyed me that he didn't make them put it out,because that was 2 hours more that I could not sit in my garden.
Mrs pig even had the cheek to take in her washing before lighting up,and did not give a damn about my washing that was on the line or any other neighbours washing.I will let you all know what the EO says later lol
I know there's probs with noise etc but telling someone not to have a bbq on a nice day is a bit cheeky to be honest. That's like telling a farmer he cant have cows cos i smell manure or switch of your car i don't want the fumes. its common sense, when our neighbours at my parents had a bbq i would simply close the windows on that side of the house and open other..if you had a bbq, smoke would enter others property.
So maybe you don't like a bbq but you can't take that out on others.
Im not trying to be inconsiderate but i think moaning about someone having a bbq is the least of anyone worries.

No you dont understand,its not like a normal BBQ,I have no objections of a BBQ.These people are burning painted wood,and using some sort of paint spirit,and tree wood.If I am sitting in my garden why should I have to close any window of my house on a nice day.What about when my son is in his bedroom studying.I dont open my front windows as there is noisy traffic going by.My son who is 20 years of age is also fed up with it.When I say smoke,I mean "SMOKE"if you sit in my garden when they light up,you are smoked out.
My neighbours dont just do this now and then,last summer it was every single morning at 7.30am,sitting on the garden floor cooking Turkish bread.This went on for weeks,and also they would light up around 5.30pm nearly every evening.My neighbour across the back of me,thought her shed was on fire.She approached me as she thought it was me lighting the fires,as she told me that she was getting headaches,and her 8 yr old daughter was also and feeling sick.Obviously I told her who was the culprit.
My son slept with his bedroom window closed in the hot summer of last year due to the stench of the smoke,and it making him feel sick.If you come into my house when they have lit up,even with the windows closed you can smell it,and it gets on my curtains.What they are cooking with is poisionous fumes.If you go back and read my posts you will see that I am not talking about normal BBQ.So you say the word "Moaning"I think that is a bit unfair,after all I would not accuse you of "Moaning"when you are venting an issue of your own on here" So am I not allowed to sit and enjoy my garden,without being smoked out,or been made to have headaches,or feel physically sick?
Good news...The Health Officer caught my neighbours in the act,and told them that it is not acceptable the amount of smoke that they are creating,and the materials that they are burning,and also the amount of times that they are doing this.The Health Officer also told them that the flames were to close to the fence and is a fire hazzard,the materials that they are using are toxic,hence us getting headaches and feeling sick.They were also told that they have been in breach of a few offences regarding this,and the council will be taking this further.Also they have a over head cover at the back of their house,which is plastic,hard plastic,got grooves in,like an open extention,they were told that it was not acceptable to burn under this,even if it was a normal BBQ.The Health Officer explained to them,that even a normal BBQ is allowed now and then,not every day,only on infrequent occasions,as this can be classed as a nuisance.
He also told me that other neighbours had complained,obviously they dont tell you who.So its a result on the makeshift toxic BBQ.Oh what did make me laugh,was when he pointed out that they could see neighbours had washing on their lines,and they were being inconsiderate.
I think to be honest,it did not help my neighbours attitude because i did hear my neighbour yell at the officer a few times.At last the Health Officer got a bit of hostillity,which goes in our favour,because they have been very verbally aggressive in the past to my husband and I regarding the noise issues.
good news Derry!!! I did chuckle at your Mrs Pig comments...least they were caught at it. I hope for your sake a notice has been issued and they arent just saying that. I was told mine were issued a notice but it wasnt acted upon and now it has lapsed.

Oh meant to say,when I told the Health Officer that my neighbours went on with their fire for 2 hours after he left,he informed me that he told them to put it out,straight after their chicken was cooked,which would of been around 10mins according the officer because they were tiny pieces of chicken which were nearly cooked.He said so they ignored my authority?I said yep...He told me that he was getting fed up with them.I said you wanna live next door to them lol
