Same old story, just another month. Nothing to report.

I used to keep fit and I used to do a lot of weights.

I heard my neighbours go out so I tried doing them.

Before they moved in, I was doing 10 reps of 60kg (free weights) and 20 reps of about 50kg - I'd do six lots. Not a lot but I was more into endurance training than actual strength training. I preferred running than weights.

I tried doing some and I honestly couldn't do 30kg. I managed a quarter rep of 30kg. Just one quarter rep. No more.

I have a rough idea of what I used to do.

16: 30kg x 20 reps x 6 periods per session.
18: 40k x 20 reps x 6 periods per session.
22: 60kg x 10 reps x 6 periods per session (or 50kg x 20 reps x 6 periods per session).
24: 20kg x 5 reps x 1 period.

I'd do other things as well. I wouldn't just bench press.

It's just hit home how much strength I've lost and it feels embarrassing. When I'm free of them, IF I'm ever free of them, it's almost as like I've got to rebuild my life. It's going to take ages to find the energy to do the things I used to enjoy and get my fitness back.

Lil's right...I refer to it as slipping into the pit....PLEASE try and KEEP on at the H Assn....I got mine to go through every one of their properties and actually arrange a swop with someone who had'nt even registered to swop....its not finalised yet ..... no paperwork signed....I do have the Maintenance surveyor due 20 March and hopefully will be out of here in April..... Weird, as I'd hit another slip into the pit at the time. They MUST have at least one other NN doing damage to quiet people somewhere....
