Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

I havent heard the pups today which is worrying after I saw her put a largeish box in the taxi boot last night before the male got in the cab...I wondered if it was the pups as the mother dog was scratching the door after

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

aw!  That would break my heart.  I am one of these people who would have been over there like a shot and have something to say if animals were involved.  I couldnt bite my tongue!  i think it is disgusting how people can keep them and treat them like that!

My two cats are so so so spoilt its untrue. smile  They have their own blankets to be covered with in winter cos they get cold in their beds. lol!  Sad I know but I like them to be comfy and cosy.  We get cold and so do they.  big_smile

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

I have checked but gotta call. I just dont know if its gonna be labelled as me harassing them

when checking their website, there was a cat called Pandora looking for a home!!!!!! made me smile....x

YES I love them to bits....

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Ah you see ours are indoor cats as we live on a very busy main road and loads of dogs in the gardens backing onto ours.  Plus with our lovely nn I wouldnt feal safe letting ours out.  So they have the run of the house and take over your lap whenever they feel like it.  big_smile

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Thanks Jo....made me laugh big_smile  big_smile  big_smile

In answer to your concern....

There's a male who breaks the house up in temper....a dog who is kept for breeding only...and missing pups hmm

RSPCA don't need an appointment either neutral

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Oh god, that sounds so horrible Drivenroundthebend. I love animals more than most human beings. I saw a lady hitting a dog outside my flat last week, I went straight outside and confronted her. I was told to mind my own business so I said to her, "Your being rude and misbehaving. I think you should be smacked. I'd be quite happy to oblige". That shut her up. I also called the agency that employs her as a care assistant and complained. I told them that if she's capable of treating a dog like that, what's she like when she's with vulnerable, old people? They said they would look into the matter, but I've not heard anything yet, and I haven't seen her over the weekend.

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Presently,Feeling a little freaked out by my neighbor.
She moved in a little over a year ago and although we thought she was strange (maybe, a picnic short of a hamper, type of strange)I didn't let it worry me until now.

Some of her behavior is bizarre.Asking me to come over and open a window for her (mind you she's only in her 20's).It took 2 seconds to pull across to open...she'd been pulling up and couldn't work out why it didn't open for 2 months.
To,asking my husband to look at her TV that would not work... he pushed the button on the TV and it came to life...the remote needed batteries that is why she couldn't turn it on.Just strange,it's like she was born in a bubble.

She asked me to look after her dog for the week as she was going away.No problems I've done this before for her.I just pop over and feed the dog it's breakfast and dinner.
She dropped the food over Sunday evening and said her flight was later that night.
Monday morning I feed the dog but when I return Monday evening the gate is not locked the way I had left it and a pair of shoes at the back door (yes,I thought it was strange, but brushed it off).I feed the dog and threw it's ball  for it and then returned home.Later last night my neighbors back light flicked on and off.I said to my husband that I'd seen the light come on and he went over to investigate. She was home???she said she was leaving later in the evening....no problems, but why ask me to feed her dog when she was at home anyways?.
Today,Tuesday,I went once again over to feed the dog,and she's still at her home.I heard her boyfriend and her out the back. What the world is going on?.It's just strange.
I'm really freaked out.

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Hello and welcome Songbird,

I think maybe give her key back and don't either of you be available for dog-duties or whatever....there's lots of dog-hotels....resist helping...and steer clear... hmm

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

Hello Songbird,

I agree with Pandora.....stay clear.......it sounds like very strange behaviour.

Re: What problems - other than noise - do you have with your neighbours?

I have been  reading  the posts here for quite  some time, taking comfort and getting much needed identification  from them  before registering. What i like most is that the difficulties people are experiencing  are very focused and the advice and suggestions  given are also  very focused. I do howver think another  related  site would be very good in opening up the issue and encouraging discussion and the sharing of experience  and suggetions which would help a lot more people.
