Topic: Nuisance neighbours

My neighbour says she has 'bipolar' and can't help herself causing trouble!! It all started when they said they owned our 'shared' drive. We had it confirmed legally that we can both use it. They park on it daily but we used it for the 1st time 2 days ago and she deliberately blocked us in. She has a double drive which she left empty to allow herself to use her 2 cars to block us in.
She has also put a wind chime down the side of her house which is directly under our bedroom window and her side gate used to have a lock on or a piece of wood holding it open, that has been taken away and the gate is slamming freely on each gust of wind!!
The neighbours at the back of us say they believed she had tried to poison their dog as she had complained a number of times that it barked. She has also apparently threatened to kill the dog and the elderly neighbours at the back are scared of her.
Please advise!!

Re: Nuisance neighbours

A lot of people's problems with noisy neighbours, whatever the particular situation, have things in common, Amanda. In the short term, take a look through some of the threads on here - they should give you an idea of the sort of measures you can take. Then, come back and we'll try to help out. Bipolar disorder can make someone behave very strangely, but it is basically a type of depression, and someone suffering with it is rarely dangerous to others, only themselves. I'd suggest you take it with a 'pinch of salt', and assume that this woman is just out to annoy people.
