Topic: Government E-Petition ready to sign

About a week or so ago i mentioned in another thread that i had started an E-Petition so we can try to get the government to discuss ways to make it easier to evict abusive tenants. The petition is now live and available to sign here.

The petition does ask some personal questions like address ect, however these are not viewable by myself or the general public. So if possible could you sign and encourage your friends to do so as well pls.

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Ill sign this petition Hoody. Would you consider signing the no to laminate petition. Its a cause very close to my heart and covers all of my issues......

Can you find a link for the laminate petition Annie....post it here and both can be accessed and signed wink

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Hi,  I'm not brilliant on computer but after I signed petition I put in low frequency noise in the search box and started looking through pages and found some petitions which may be of interest........ban laminate flooring, more powers for removal of abusive neighbours and handing power back to police to deal with them...... and a few others...........

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Ooppss, Bit embarrassed Pandora, Im not computer savvy. Clicked on Hoodys post, signed his petition. Then clicked on top right hand corner, check for other petitions, put in lam/wooden flooring. Came up no to laminate flooring, so signed that one to. Sorry my sons never here when i need him.....

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Many Thanks Mr H,

Annie, its for people in social housing....you may like to do your own...or go to Freedom of Information site and register and address direct to the Home Office....if its the wrong place, they will redirect to proper authority.....its easy...and thats me saying that hmm

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

It actually doesn't matter how many petitions you sign, on the petition i lade i deliberately didn't put down council tenant so that it could also refer to private tenants as well although it was aimed mainly at council tenants.

Got a few extra signatures overnight, but if anyone has any friends/family that could sign it would be more than welcome. They may have to use a different e-mail address, this only takes about two minutes to make a free Hotmail account though.

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

I have discovered a new hobby......signing epetitions....has anyone else seen all the petitions regarding noise......although I have not seen one for low frequency noise and vibration....Dear Mr. Hoody could you please give me some instructions if you have a few minutes.....on how to put one on the site.....and Dearest Pandora, you are much better at this than me, would you mind helping with the wording.....Thank you in advance.  Hope I'm not being too cheeky asking.........

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Start my own petition, Suppose i can give it ago, Who says you cant teach an old dog new tricks, Ill give it a whirl.....

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

Re: Government E-Petition ready to sign

To link a web site type [.url]**** [./url] with the websites address where the stars are i.e. replace the stars with http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/20315

You will have to remove the dots from inside the brackets. i have had to place them there so you could see the html code otherwise it tries to link to the stars :s
