Topic: Loud night time person thrown out by (CL) wife for same

A quick snippet of a fairly average 27 hours

00:02 furniture being moved
02:18 door slammed, various banging noises, noise continues throughout the night
Noise all day long
20:41 series of loud thumps followed by series of very heavy footsteps
21:21 slammed door
22:07 thumping and bumping  continual since last entry  [edit] continued past 11pm
00:52 door slammed, front door slammed
02:05 furniture being moved several thumps
03:53 front door slammed, loud voices on stairs, flat door slammed heavy footsteps overhead
05:18 woken up again by front door slamming followed by flat door and herd of elephants trampling through flat

During the above 27 hours I got no peace, the longest (relative) quiet period was about 2 hours.
This is constant day in and day out, weekends are worse, I have called the police 'sorry nothing we can do', they did advise to keep a noise diary (from which this extract is taken).

I tried the friendly approach and that worked for almost a week, then back to his usual behaviour, I even tried the 'Mr Angry" approach and that just resulted in him standing on the stairs screaming you W*******R, you F******G W*******KY W*******R over and over again, this resulted in me contacting the police, who in all fairness did actually talk to him, at which point he made various excuses.

One of my nieghbours beat on his door so forcibly that it burst open before confronting him about his noise, this too had  little effect, another one has also had words with him, my landlord feels that it is a problem we should sort out amongst ourselves

His point of view is that it is my problem if I cannot cope with a nieghbour that 'has a little energy'

I now have 14 days of noise entries, as I write this it is 5pm and he has just gone out, slamming his flat door, bouncing down the stairs and slamming the front door so hard it shook my flat, this is the first moment of quiet since 10am.

I am using a spell checker on this which is very unusual for me but my brain is so fried right now I cannot spell for toffee!
