We live in paradise, or it would be if not for the woman next door. It's bad enough to hear next doors music in your house if you're in a semi, but we are both detached! Apparently she believes that the white noise 'hiss' on CDs has a message in it and she has to have it that loud to hear it. She's bonkers no doubt.
She insists also on every window being wide open.
I have tried being nice, leading by good example, (being quite and considerate) retaliating by bad example (playing defeaning music with my window open. I've tried talking too. Having had experience of councils systems before I can't go through all that again. No other single person in the village makes noise like this.
Today I lost it and asked her, 'did she have to work at being so thoughtless and inconsiderate or did it come naturally?' Her reply, unprintable - she's uses the 'F' word three times in every sentence all the time.
